The Orkney Isles. |
A day tour to the Orkneys every day throughout the summer,
1st May to the 30th September.

|
Beyond Scotland's Northern shores there lies an archipelago, where the midsummer sun barely dips
below the wide horizon before gently rising on the next dawn.
A place where the ebb and flow of history has brought with it a landscape, and people
rich in character. |
A land of contrasts where fertile green pastures are fringed
by shores of golden sands washed by the water of the
North sea and Atlantic ocean.
An unspoiled land where the cry of the Corncrake is still as clear
as the surrounding sea.
| Let us take you away to this mystical place on a voyage of discovery through time
itself, from the stone-age man, through the age of the Viking, to the present day vibrant community of the Orkney Islanders. |

The passenger ferry "Pentland Venture" sets sail from John O'Groats every summers day
and crosses the Pentland Firth,
the old seaway to Orkney, in just 45 minutes. |
She is a purpose built vessel with a comfortable saloon,
but you may wish to sit on one of her open decks and
enjoy the sound and sights of the sea.

The Picturesque Hamlet of Stromness.
|
Keep a sharp lookout for Seals, Dolphins and even the occasional Whale.
On arrival at Berwick your coach awaits you and your mystical tour begins. |
The pictures displayed above are just three of the fantastic sights
you will see on your tour.
